The Member of Parliament(MP) for Manhyia North Constituency of the Ashanti Region Collins Owusu Amankwah is among the unfortunate lawmakers who have to kiss goodbye to parliament in 2021.
Hon Collins Owusu Amankwah has been defeated at the Constituency Parliamentary Primary by 5 votes.
New entrant Akwasi Konadu who is contesting him for the second time, polled 278 votes as against 273 votes for the incumbent to emerge victorious.
He becomes the second sitting MP in the Ashanti Region to have lost his slot to represent the party in the 2020 polls after Daniel Okyem Boakye.
