Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, Chairman of the Afigya-Kwabre South constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has counselled the youth of the Party not to be complacent, but continue to work hard to maintain the party in power in 2020.

He said the ultimate goal of every political party was to capture political power and it was incumbent on all party faithful, especially the youth to intensify aggressive soul-winning at the grassroots for more voters for the party, to ensure the Party’s continuous stay in the office.

Odeneho Appiah, who made the appeal at the joint inauguration of the youth, women and Nasara wings of the party at Bronkron new site in the Afigya-Kwabre South district of Ashanti Region said the NPP government was working through various interventions to improve the living conditions of the people.

These interventions could only work to transform the lives of the people if party members dedicated themselves and encouraged people in their communities to take an active interest and participate in them.

Odeneho Appiah advised the youth to desist from engaging in acts that would bring the name of the party into disrepute. “You should step up house-to-house campaigns and not see your opponents as enemies, but work to convince and win them to your side, to help the Party maintain power in the 2020 elections.”

Mr Gibson Owusu, Patron of the Bronkron NPP youth wing, said the members were rallying to work harder for the Party to maintain political power for a longer period to enable it to execute all its development initiatives, which would improve the living conditions of all Ghanaians.
