Controversial football administrator Takyi Arhin has fired what appears a direct response to Wilfred Osei Kwaku, claiming he is "wearing wooden spectacles" for refusing to see monumental changes at the Ghana FA since the assumption of the new administration.

In a subtle dig aimed at the Tema Youth president, the former Eleven Wonders chief insists the Kurt Okraku administration has done more than enough in just six months.

The tough-talking football chief, has hit hard at his former boss - whom he campaigned vigorously for in the lead up to the Ghana Football Association election prior to his disqualification from the race.

Osei Kwaku, who is contesting his disqualification from the presidential race at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) passed a damning verdict on the new administration of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), insisting "nothing has changed"

But his former loyalist Takyi Arhin has launched what appears a scathing response to the former Executive committee member, saying he needs to remove the wooden spectacles to see clearly.

“If someone says this administration has not done anything, I beg to differ," he told Asempa FM.

“Since he (Kurt Okraku) came, what again should he do, he has formed various committees across board and he involved persons from the camps of those he contested against.

“When the league was about to start without a sponsor, they gave each premier league team 50,000, first division 25,000 and women’s football teams 15,000.

“Today adjudication of cases at the disciplinary committee is expedited. Referees have lifted their game. Bring back the love is working and the love is coming back.

“The GFA consults all stakeholders before making any decision, so if anyone thinks nothing has changed, then the person is wearing wooden spectacles.”

The football politics and antagonism appears to have been deepened with no end in sight for a collective front to drive the sport amid accusations and counter-accusations.
