Various prison officers who have been observed to be individuals from wee smuggling syndicate into different detainment facilities across the nation have been sacked by the Ghana Prison Service, MyNewsGh.com can report.

DSP Richard Bukari, Public Relations Officer of the Kumasi Central Prisons who declined further detail on the correct number of jailers endorsed for taking part in the exchange of the illegal medication, said the officers have themselves to fault for bargaining their demonstrable skill and trustworthiness for GH¢20 or less.
“We have arrested some officers who made an attempt to smuggle wee into the yard. Some succeeded but we conducted an investigation and established the officers behind the acts.
