The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a 14-day ultimatum to CID boss, Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah to produce the three kidnapped Takoradi girls or resign from office.

This comes more than a month after Maame Tiwaa announced that the Police know the whereabouts of the girls.

Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Ruthlove Quayeson and Priscilla Mantsebeah Koranchie, were kidnapped between August and December 2018 in the Western regional capital.

Despite the arrest of a Nigerian suspect, Samuel Wilson Udoterg, the location of the girls remains a mystery.

Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Sunday, 12 May 2019, the National Women’s Organiser of the NDC, Dr Hannah Louisa Bissiw said over the next seven days, they will be collecting signatures to petition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the matter.

She said: “The national women’s wing of the NDC will be collecting signatures in the next seven days to petition the president, the IGP, the CID boss, Attorney General and other international agencies demanding for the CID boss Tiwaa Addo Danquah to produce the three kidnapped Takoradi girls within the next 14 days or resign from office.”
