Vice-President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has charged supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to propagate the good works of the Mahama-led administration to improve the electoral fortunes of the party in the 2016 polls.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur urged the ecstatic supporters of the NDC to embark on a door-to-door campaign vigorously and assured the chiefs and people of more development projects in the community should President John Mahama be re-elected.
Mr Amissah-Arthur gave the assurance when he inaugurated a girls dormitory that can take over 500 students at Yeboah Nsuamah SHS at Nsuta in the Techiman South Constituency and Tanoso of the Brong Ahafo Region.
Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur also gave the assurance that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would continue to provide development to rural areas because they are at the centre of its agenda.
He said the John Mahama-led administration was also determined to ensure regional balance regarding development for the people.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur was accompanied by the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Ms. Barbara Serwah Asamoah, Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Vice Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan, and former National Organiser of the NDC among others.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur said the NDC government would continue to provide more infrastructure in order to open up the area for investments and to create jobs for the people and that the second term of President Mahama would focus on the resource development of the country.
