Raymond Gyasi ready to 'go to war' with brother Edwin in Norwegian Cup match

Stabæk winger Raymond Gyasi is prepared to go to “war” with brother Edwin in a delayed Norwegian Cup match against Aalesund tonight.

The Ghanaian brothers have met twice in an opposite direction with a win each for the pair.

Stabæk's clash against Aalesund has been moved forward to Thursday after it was rained off on Wednesday.

And Raymond Gyasi, who is a former Ghana Under-23 star, says there will be no niceties.

"We talk together everyday, and facetimes often 2-3 hours at a time, so we have a very tight band. Of course we are family, but on the pitch we are enemies tomorrow, he told the club's website.

"Playing with my brother was a great feeling. I can not describe how good it was, says Raymond.

They have met twice before on the football field, something young sibling very well.

"He won the first match even though I scored, and then I won the second match. I have a good feeling that I'm winning the third. "he says.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian players played together at Roda JC Kerkrade two years ago before they both took the step forward to Norwegian football.

Edwin, 26, has been the mainstay of the Aalesunds squad since joining while Raymond has also been an influential member of the the Stabæk squad in the past two seasons.
