The Commission on its Facebook page has urged the public to disregard the information; officials and party agents have been told to continue the voting process.
“Jaman North: NB! Voting has NOT been postponed in Jaman North. Deliberations are in progress but no decision has been taken. We will keep you updated.
In Jaman North, parties have reached a resolution. The EC is deliberating on the way forward. We will keep you posted. Reports that voting has been called off are incorrect”, the EC wrote.
Earlier reports have suggested political parties in the Jaman North constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region have agreed to postpone to tomorrow [Thursday] voting in the constituency.
