Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Steve Polack has revealed that he is looking to sign five new players to augment his squad ahead of the 2017/2018 season.
The English trainer joined up with his squad for pre-season training on Monday after returning from Europe where he was on holiday.
Kotoko will be involved in three competitions next season – Ghana Premier League, MTN FA Cup, and the CAF Confederations Cup.
“I’m looking to augment my squad. There are few positions I’m looking and have a list on that,” Polack said on told Asempa FM in an interview on Monday.
“Some players go some players come, it is not about getting 10 or 15 players.
I probably need about 4 or 5 players to beef up the squad for the League, CAF Confederation Cup and the FA Cup.”
Kotoko finished 5th in last season’s Ghana Premier League.
