Acting General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has appealed to celebrities in the country to listen to Men of God who make prophecies on their lives.

Mr. Boadu’s comment comes after the revelation by many Men of God in the country that they prophesied about the death of late dancehall singer, Ebony Reigns which was ignored by her management.

CEO of Ruff Town Records/Midas Touch Inc., Bullet who is known in real life as Ricky Nana Agyemang, has however refuted claims that Ebony and her management team ignored several prophecies about her death.

According to Bullet, the artiste and her team diligently followed directions given them by renowned sound engineer, Kaywa who was one of several people to predict the tragedy.

The acting General Secretary of the NPP who is close friends with Nana Poku-Kwarteng, father of Ebony says the news of the death of Ebony has left him devastated.

“I have been very sad since I heard of the passing of this vibrant singer, Ebony. In fact, her dad is a friend. I have been disorganized and can’t even understand why such a person should die.

“I think it is about time such prophecies are not taken for granted; some are indeed real and should be taken seriously, especially if these celebrities are asked to follow directions, they should do that diligently” he said on Accra based Okay FM.

The National Organiser of the NPP indicated that though there are some fake prophets parading themselves as men of God and duping innocent people, some prophecies should not be taken for granted.

“Yes, some of these prophets are fake but I think some of their prophecies work. And in doing so, they also need to pray”, he advised.
