Thomas Partey’s father, Adjingo Partey, has heaped praises on Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simone.
The Black Stars midfielder, who looks rejuvenated, has been the redeemer for the Spanish giant in the on-going campaign.
Despite Madrid’s torrid campaign, Partey has been shortlisted in CAF’s 30 best provisional players alongside Christian Atsu.
Adjingo, who doubles as the agent for his son, has praised the Argentine coach for aiding in the development of his son.
“I am very happy with the performance of Partey because he was playing at the Academy side for Atletico, and with how he has developed as a player, I think it is the work done by the coach [Diego Simone].
“I can see he has develop as a player and I know step by step, he will get there so I am not bothered,” he said.
Adjingo further called on young players to be disciplined if they want to get to the top level.
“I am convinced that is the reason why the technical team of the Black Stars want to build the team around him [Thomas Partey] and other players because of his development. It is good for him as a player and I call on young players to be disciplined if they want to get to the top level and be recognised,” he added.
