After the court victory of MenzGold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, some Ghanaians have advised the business owner to hurry and settle those whose monies have been locked up in his company.
According to some Makola market women who spoke to GhanaWeb, they are ready to warmly receive Nana Appiah Mensah back to Ghana; his return, according to them will fast track payments of monies to Menzgold investors.
“He should forget whatever he heard whilst in prison and pray for strength so that he will be able to pay his customers”, they added.
Background
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of embattled Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, aka NAM1, was reported to have been set free by a court in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This was after he won a case of fraud brought against him by Horizon Royal Diamonds in a purported $51 million gold deal.
He was made to post a bail bond of $3.5 million and once he is ‘free’, he is said to be pursuing the company that caused his arrest for about $31 million which was why he had travelled to Dubai in the first place.
It is still unclear whether the Interpol Arrest Request put in by the Ghanaian authorities, as confirmed by the CID Boss last week, is still holding.
