Maverick Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC has urged Ghanaians to vote for NPP in 2020 to introduce Free Tertiary Education and ignore One Party School for One Constituency message which is being promised by the former President, Mr. John Mahama.

Addressing delegates in the Sene West Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region on Friday, October 19, 2018, former President John Mahama who is aspiring to lead the NDC in 2020 general elections, has promised to establish a party school for each constituency across the country to equip his party members.

Mr. Mahama said the school will help the party to know its members through a database collection and revealed that he can only fulfil this promise when elected as the president of this country.

President John Mahama further told the people that he was more experienced than President Akufo-Addo so when given the opportunity for the second time, he would change the country.

He urged his party members to be united and whistle political power from the NPP government and save Ghanaians from the NPP's economic hardship.

But in a statement signed by NPP's controversial communicator and copied to GhanaWeb indicated that former President Mahama failed to fulfil the NDC's 2012 campaign promises and therefore called on Ghanaians to ignore his recent promises.

The statement emphasized, "I will like to first and foremost draw the attention of all and sundry to some promises captured in the NDC manifesto made prior to the 2012 elections".

The statement added "Ghanaians voted for John Mahama based on those promises yet he failed to execute even one; John Mahama promised 10% oil revenue for Western Regional Chiefs, He promised Fertilizer industries to give impetus to agro development. See also page 11 of their 2012 manifesto, He promised to build an Eastern Regional hospital. See page 34 of manifesto".

According to Abronye DC, former President Mahama is planning to use the ordinary Ghanaian tax payer's money to feed his party members if elected as a President of this country and that he is only becoming president to loot the state funds.

"From the tape, it could be depicted that John Mahama is planning to use the ordinary Ghanaian tax payer's money to feed his party faithfuls. It is clear that, the intent of John Mahama's come back is to loot state funds for his party", he alleged.

The statement emphasized "While the Nana Addo NPP government is initiating policies such as NaBCo, Free SHS, etc we have people from NDC condemning same. The National Organizer for the NDC Kofi said NaBCo which will benefit the entire unemployed youth is a waste of resources".

The statement stated "Sometimes, I wonder whether the NDC really thinks about Ghanaians. Anything that will benefit the entire citizenry, they will be the first to criticize but now, here are the same people promising to establish political party schools in each Constituency".

Abronye DC added that the NPP government has so far performed extremely well and was optimistic that Ghanaians will vote for his party to enjoy Free Tertiary Education.

The statement asked 'My simple question to all Ghanaian is that, will they prefer an NDC ideological school over Free SHS, NaBCo, 1D 1F, 1 village 1 Dam, etc".

"The NDC institute of Ideological Studies will be of no benefit to the ordinary Ghanaian yet the NDC feel that one is prudent than NaBCo and Free SHS", he rubbished the NDC's party school.

The statement emphasized that Ghanaians in 2020 general elections, would be voting for Free Tertiary Education over Mr. Mahama's one party school for each constituency.

"The Good people of Ghana will rather prefer Free Tertiary Education over that bogus and useless NDC school", the statement stressed.

RE: ONE CONSTITUENCY ONE NDC PARTY SCHOOL IN 2021 - SAYS JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA

While the NPP is planning on how to implement a free Tertiary Education program in 2021, the flagbearer aspirant for the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama who is on a tour in the Brong Ahafo Region is heard on tape promising to facilitate the establishment of an NDC school dubbed Institute of Ideological Studies in each Constituency for the party faithfuls when he is elected as flagbearer and subsequently wins the 2020 general elections. He made those promises whilst addressing delegates at the Sene West Constituency.

I will like to first and foremost draw the attention of all and sundry to some promises captured in the NDC manifesto made prior to the 2012 elections.

Ghanaians voted for John Mahama based on those promises yet he failed to execute even one;

1. John Mahama promised 10% oil revenue for Western Regional Chiefs

2. He promised salt based chemical industries of Caustic Soda. See page 11 of 2012 manifesto

3. He promised Fertilizer industries to give impetus to agro development. See also page 11 of their 2012 manifesto

4. He promised in page 11 of their manifesto to establish textile industries and ventures in their value chain.

5. He promised to build an Eastern Regional hospital. See page 34 of manifesto

6. He also promised to complete the WA Regional hospital. see page 34

7. He promised to establish manufacturing enterprises to process agriculture produce especially beans, fruits and Shea nuts. See page 63 of manifesto

8. He further promised to establish integrated Shea butter processing factories in the Northern Region. See also page 63.

Just to mention a few. These are promises which induced the ordinary Ghanaian to vote for John Mahama however, he completely failed to fulfil any of these promises.

From the tape, it could be depicted that John Mahama is planning to use the ordinary Ghanaian tax payer's money to feed his party faithfuls. It is clear that, the intent of John Mahama's come back is to loot state funds for his party.

While the Nana Addo NPP government is Initiating policies such as NaBCo, Free SHS, etc be we have people from NDC condemning same.

The National Organizer for the NDC Kofi said NaBCo which will benefit the entire unemployed youth is a waste of resources.

Also, whilst the Nana Addo administration is trying so hard to reduce electricity tariffs and other tariffs including;

I. 17.5% VAT on domestic airlines

ii. 5% VAT on real estate

iii. Excise duty on petroleum

Iv. 7.5% on selected imported medicine, etc....

We have persons like the former president Mahama and his finance minister Seth Tepker telling Ghanaians that, reduction of tariffs is a populist approach and that, same is a recipe for disaster.

Sometimes, I wonder whether the NDC really thinks about Ghanaians. Anything that will benefit the entire citizenry, they will be the first to criticize but now, here are the same people promising to establish political party schools in each Constituency.

My simple question to all Ghanaians is that, will they prefer An NDC ideological school over Free SHS, NaBCo, 1D 1F, 1 village 1 Dam, etc.

The NDC institute of Ideological Studies will be of no benefit to the ordinary Ghanaian yet the NDC feel that one is prudent than NaBCo and Free SHS

The Good people of Ghana will rather prefer Free Tertiary Education over that bogus and useless NDC school.

Signed!
