We will retire Akufo-Addo at age 91 – Abronye DC
Brong Ahafo Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, says President Akufo-Addo will serve two terms in office.
Mr. Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC believes President Akufo-Addo will retire at 91-years, same as ex-Zimbabwean President Mugabe will be succeeded by another NPP government.
“Nana Addo has made the presidency an envy of many. There is no way Ghanaians will disappoint him by not voting for him. He will continue his presidency till 2024 and even beyond. In fact, we will retire him when he gets to 91-years, the Mugabe age,” he said on Accra-based Okay FM as monitored by Adomonline.com.
According to Mr. Baffoe, President Akufo-Addo has been fulfilling his electoral promises to Ghanaians, an act he says will get Ghanaians to vote massively for him and the NPP.
He cited the President’s proactive handling of issues such as Ghana’s participation in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Australia as a commendable action that shows the quality in his leadership.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Pious Enam Hadzide and the Acting Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) Robert Sarfo Mensah were all suspended week for their roles in the deportation of alleged 60 fake journalists who attempted to enter Australia under false pretenses at the ongoing Commonwealth Games.
Mr. Baffoe who commended the President’s action believes such actions are indication of President Akufo-Addo’s resolve not to condone corruption in his government.
