Times are hard politics: A wicked propaganda of the NDC

It's a grand scheme by the NDC to push the "times are hard" agenda because it sells well politically especially for a desperate opposition. This is nothing but WICKED PROPAGANDA by John Mahama and his NDC cronies.

Regardless of your status in the society you may in one way or the other face some challenges so when anyone says "times are hard", it is natural that you will quickly associate yourself with it. We need to be careful so we don't fall into this propagandist trap by the very people who created it.

Although, one agrees that our Government has not completely corrected all the mess, "Times are Hard" it should not come from the NDC that created the MESS during their 8year rule.

For the purpose of records and in the interest of the good people of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's government has rather introduced a lot of relieves with its tax reduction/holiday policy, Free Senior High schools, introduction NEIP, One District One Factory, Planting for Food and Jobs, Digitization of the economy, Mobile Money interoperability, Reduction in Electricity, Digital Address System, Creation of New Regions, Stamping out of corruption through wanton sole sourcing, Restoration of the Teacher and Nursing Trainees Allowances, IPEP, Renovation of the Railway sector, restructuring of the Technical and Vocational Education system, etc. all within 23-months.

It is instructive to note that H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo's government spent almost 12-months out of these 23-months to clear the socio-economic MESS caused by the erstwhile NDC Mahama regime.

We shouldn't forget the SADA Akonfem/Tree Planting Thievery, GYEEDA, WAYOMI Cash, BUS BRANDING, NCA CHOP CHOP, SSNIT IT Scandal, Host of Inflated Contracts and the almighty DUMSOR that engulfed this country for almost 4years which resulted in the collapse of lots of businesses and deaths of innocent citizens.

Unfortunately, however, some of our own people have been trapped into this wicked propaganda by the NDC already by singing the same song. My message to them is NDC and John Mahama are very good at spreading falsehoods and raising false alarm.

In as much as I agree that we have not made Ghana a heaven, which is not possible though, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's NPP government has couched a niche for itself with the impressive socio-economic performance and high fiscal policy credibility.

As a government, we need to speed-up with the arrest and prosecution of the former corrupt appointees. We need to keep them busy while we continue with our splendid performance. This is what a good number of people are looking for.
