Is the Supreme Court assertion on birth certificat

Even if all you say are assumed to be correct, the matter is moot because the voter registration is proceeding smoothly without the use of birth certificate as identification; and nobody is complaining

Remember also that the EC has the power to choose from several valid identifications and to exclude others equally valid ones. This power is not questioned or questionable. That body chose to exclude birth certificates.

So yours is a complete academic exercise in futility: The ruling does not restrict the wider use to which birth certificates could be used; it only says that the document could not be used as identification for this particular voter registration exercise. Period’

Live with it and let the matter rest!
