Open letter from Kwahu to Nana Akufo-Addo

The true story is that, kwahu underdevelopment is not isolated situation in ghana. Many communities across ghana are lacking infrastructures. This problem in large part is because the first president of ghana priority was not ghana development.Resources that could be used to provide infrastructures were rather used to achieve his pan African goals. At the end of the second World war,the British the colonial master, were ready to live Africa, and ghana first sub Saharan Africa country to gain independence was their starting point,But unfortunately our first president failed to recognize that and used resources for ghana infrastructures development on a war to free Africa countries then under european colonization.Highly level negotiations would have accomplished that goal, while ghana resources were deployed to build infrastructures.Imagine newly independent ghana with minimal infrastructures giving away 10million pounds to guinea.I am not surprise nkrumah is called great son of Africa,he gets that credential at the expense of infrastructures development in ghana. Finally a system must be developed to achieve full employment in ghana, whereby payroll taxes would be collected by local governments towards development of their communities. Now is time to end reliance on one central government in Accra to build infrastructures in every community.
