What is lacking in your argument as has been the case with the "Kill Tsatsu" crowd is failure on two counts:
1. Jumping at Tsikata's statement accusing Justice Anim Yeboah of judicial bias without reference to his supporting assertions or with disregard to his supporting points and
2. They fail to take into account associated historical perspective. - just a month or so later we are all listening and reading about the unraveling sale of the rig that was the basis for bringing charges against Tsikata.
If anyone of the "kill Tsatsu" crowd, having analytical and evaluative skills, would fairly assess and evaluate how Justice Anim Yeboah got to the Ghana Supreme Court bench they would appreciate the wisdom in what Tsikata said. Justice Anim Yeboah, an appeals court judge, had rendered one of the worse and blatant decisions in the history of Ghana which truly showed he lacked both judicial understanding and intellect or at his best a political hack; he was thus rebuked (reversed) on appeal at the Supreme Court, by his peers.
Kufour who orchestrated and used his appointees at the Justices department to bring charges against Tsikata at the lower level courts and before Justice Anim Yeboah could only stoop so low as to appoint the very justice Yeboah to a higher court knowing Justice Anim Yeboah’s career was over. And it was Kufour who appointed Justice Anim Yeboah to the Supreme Court of Ghana even after he had been soundly proven to be judicially incompetent as an appeals court judge at the hands of his peers on the Supreme Court bench. To not know that Kufour rewarded Justice Yeboah for his intentional and designed harm to Tsikata is to believe that in Ghana people who flunk at oral defense of their thesis/dissertations are rewarded by getting their desired degrees along with appoints as head of a Civil service department.

There is a big difference between crticising a judgment and criticising a judge in person to the extent of attacking the judge's moral integrity. Okudzeto crticised the judgment and not the judge's integrity.

I recollect from the '90s one guy then in the UK who used to send me private mail - "this is the first time you have written something objective" - anytime I wrote anything critical of the PNDC or NDC on Okyeame. When I sent mail back one day reminding him that he had commended me several times thus already, he stopped sending such mails! Since I saved every correspondence I did on floppies, I might be able to locate those exchanges as proof in a court of law.:-)Anyway, so I know where you have reached in your assessment of the mentalities of some in our country.
A lot worse than what Tsatsu said have been said and written about the
judges but the only chorus we get is the barking hounds in support of such utterances and attacks on them. Some were even allegedly bribed by the Asantehene on behalf of the NDC!
I wasn't much impressed by Sam Okudzeto's unwarranted attack on Tsatsu and said so. I specifically asked where he was when his "cousin" was being railroaded into prison by his colleagues of the NPP. With relations like that, who need slave raiders? One day, he'd wake up at Kontsiabu!
By their silence, ye shall know them for what they are: a bunch of duplicitous, unprincipled, hypocrites!
