The corruption in Ghana has cleverly crept into the Ghana Armed Forces in a way that if you're not wise enough, you might missed it. The attitude of raking in more money for doing nothing is not limited to greedy pastors and politicians.
In the name of UN peace keeping efforts, GAF has become the vulture that follows the carcass. Politicians and the army top brass has found a cleaver way to make money on our men and women sent to these hot spots around the world.
The UN pay $20 an hour per a peace keeper officer and GAF top brass short change these poor guys who are just happy and paid bribes just to go die a mere $5/hr.
This profit of enslaving our fine security men has made the GAF a craving crackhead craving for more hot spots to rake in money for doing nothing.
Why GAF can't be in the military industrial business in civil engineering ( road and bridge designing and construction) beats my mind.
GAF has the capacity to run top of the line health institutions around the country and train top notch medical personnel with military precision, and also has the capacity to run the largest farm ever seen but they refused to do it because that requires too much thinking to do but rather chase carcass.
When Katrina hit, and a new and stronger levy needed to protect the city of New Orleans, guess who was called to build it with no questions asked? The United States Army corps of Engineers.
Today, the only monumental bridge we have over the volta river needed a make-over and our GAF army corps of engineers could not even repair it let alone build one.
If practice makes a man perfect, then why the govt of Ghana keeps buying equipments for the army corps of engineers who can not build their own roads befitting an army camp?
Do greedy and immoral politicians demoralized and weakened the GAF to be a mere pauper in order to have their way over them?

The US, the UK, and China have high and huge stakes in the oil industry in South Sudan but have chosen to stand aloof. What does Ghana have to gain from South Sudan to be bothered about developments there and for which it should send its troops (into the lion's den)?
Some of you are damn and irredeemably stupid!! Do you not know that the AU is dead and gone to the dogs? You are a big fool to respond the way you did!!

As wise as you are let Sudan burn because you have no stakes. What were your stakes in Cambodia, Lebanon and the many places beyond the continent we have been deploying our troops. I won't call you a fool but I bet you are.

Peacekeepers are sent where there is social unrest or political trouble or the likelihood of suspected trouble to ensure there is peace to maintain.
Ghanaian troops by their huge experiences gained over the years are one of the best peacekeepers in the world and our government has obligation under the UN charter to commit our brave men and women to such humanitarian demand to safe lives and properties of a troubled nation when call upon to do so.
My questiom is, Bokor where did you obtain your said PHD?
You seems to enjoy putting anything here without properly using your head. Stop the shameful embarrassment of hard won PHD holders here.

History has it that the Blacks in then Sudan have being ridiculed, disrespected, stigmatized etc by their Arab counterpart and the never-ending tribal conflict between the two race, led to the newly formed nation South Sudan so, what is now the pushing them to the brink of civil war?
The answer is pure and simple; power and the black man inability to think outside the box to manage his affairs in a well organized manner.
Why can't the people of South Sudan, cast their minds back to what they have gone through and burry their political, tribal differences and live peacefully in their new country?
A small, rich in oil will eventually see herself embroiled in long and stupid war just to see who will control the vast oil reserve and misuse the money. That is the reason for this stupidity going on in South Sudan. Look, I do not care who is what. We should send no peace keeping troops to quell the disturbances going on. No matter how I dislike our military, there is no reason to send them to die in a country where greedy leaders are struggling for political power.
