It now looks set that weeping over Akufo Addo's crushing defeat is going to be a feature in NPP behaviour every now and then. And here I thought Sir John was gone for good, not knowing there many sir Johns still in there. Nobody has touched the Heritage Fund that the NDC on its own created so what are you writing writing about?

"...Ghanaians have become the poorer for Dr. Afari-Gyan's reckless decision to gamble with our destiny".
The US embassy in Accra once said Ghanaians are politically drunk people. The above statement made Dr. Ahoofe testifies the US Embassy's observation. The accusations of ragging the election went to court and it could not be proven. So the fact as it stands now is that if Ghanaians have become poorer from the 2012 presidential election, then the blame must rest on majority of Ghanaian voters and not at the door steps of Kwadwo Afari-Gyan. If Kwadwo Afari-Gyan declaration was reckless, that recklessness was born out of the Ghanaian electorates' votes because he only declared results certified by Electoral Commission and political parties' representatives from the polling station and constituency centers that reached him at his office. He could not change the results because that would be tantamount to not performing his constitutional duties. He has done a lot for Ghana's democratic dispensation. It's time people allow his name to rest. He is my distant grand uncle and I will defend his name from scrupulous individuals who continue to drag his name into the mud for no reasons. Ah ba! It's too much! Can't some people reason beyond party politics?

Unfortunately Kosoko. It doesnt work that way. If i tell you that Afari Gyan is not your distant grand-uncle, would that make it so? Same way if supreme court says the elections was free and fair, it does not necessarily make it true. In fact, supreme courts have been known to reverse their decisions, so those decisions they make are not sacrosanct. Who did not watch and see Afari Gyan lie several times under oath whilst at the same time forging documents and refusing to admit obvious situations? That imprint of a lying electoral commissioner is what is etched in the memories of everyone - including you. Not what Justice Atuguba said.
I wish no hell for anyone - even a lying electoral commissioner who could have plunged this nation into chaos

Every time NPP loses an election it cries wolf and blames others for their defeat. Find solutions to your sorry campaigns and stop the blame game. Do you sheepishly believe that Ghanaians love NPP so much that they have always massively voted for this party since its inception? You falsely believe you won the election against Rawlings, Mills, and Mahama. The two times Afari Gyan declared you winners, why didn't you go public to say that he rigged the elections to allow your victory? Okoampa, we are fed up with your rhetoric and abject NONSENSE. Okoampa, I want you to comment on the arrest of Mr. David Anim, a drug baron and owner of Lebaron Hotel at East Legon, who is alleged to have ties with Akufo Addo and is a top financier of NPP. If NPP comes to power,Ghana will return to being a Gateway for drugs once again. Mr. Anim was arrested in London and is going to be extradited to the US for trial, and I hope you will meet him at the Airport when he arrives in the US. Okoampa, when was the last time you visited Ghana?

Including family pets, and resettled it in the 'Big Apple',what motivation will this fmr. devotee of the, Young Pioneer movement,a Youth Wing of the erstwhile CPP, have in travelling to Ghana? I hear Nana Addo does not think too highly of of him because of his penchant to trace his roots to all the notable Royal Akan families in Ghana. This explains why he[Nana] shunned him at a public event a couple years back in NY,which sent our 'famous' College Prof into a tizzy.
In fact, I have always wondered how his Oldman,a dyed-in-wool CPP man, feels about his son`s 'conversion' into this rabid anti- Nkrumah opportunist and basher!
But did the Akora have a choice in the matter?

It's been said somewhere, that anybody who is planning to vote for NDC, in 2016, must be experiencing some mental imbalance, and must therefore see a Psychiatrist.

please don't compare personal property with the state coffer. Everyone has his/her reasons for doing something for the family and national issues are different from this.

Why should you Ahoofe continue to turn the truth on its head. In 2001 Kufuor and his top economists were unable to run Ghana's economy hence they declared Ghana a Highly Indebted Poor Country. I just heard that some country in Europe voted a billionaire as president with the scrubs of food will fall from his dinning table into their palms. Europeans most of the time act funny and that has been most of the troubles the world is having today.
Can we imagine how funny it would have been that had the racial segregation laws in the U.S. applicable to Ghana no Negro is allowed to seat on the presidential seat. And our prime ministers will be ridding on a car meant for dogs. Thus in 1966 any Ghanaian about to ride on a bus would have gone to the house of a white man, to walk his dog so that he can ride on the bus.
Those who claim that they are teaching everyone civilization claim that they do not pay men and women equal pay of work of equal value. Ahoofe where you are writing from let people not to take your writings serious, thus you must as a matter of fact not write like a drunkard talking in the bar, but a sage advising people at the village square.

after declaring Ghana a hipic country in 2001, a lot of grants and loans were given to Ghana. will this so called gentle giant and his family members he surrounded himself with as members of his government to govern Ghana up to 2009, tell us what happened to those numerous grants and loans? it is our right as Ghanaians to know one by one what they did with these grants and loans running into trillions of dollars. we mandated them to rule us as such it is our legitimate right to know they did with our money. they were damn lucky the late good old president prof attah mills left them off the hook but whether they like it or not, they will cough up the money one day. they should mark it and see. thieves of the highest order! this is what this so called professor ahoofe should be asking and not to be making unnecessarily and unintelligent noises from outside.

ever since elections were conducted in Ghana prior to independence, the busia-danquah tradition have won only one election and that was in 2000. in 1969, general afrifa and his bloody NLC disbanded the cpp and handed over power to abrefa busia and his demonic lieutenants including jake obetsebi lamptey, Edward akuffo addo and the rest. general afrifa did this after helping busia and co to rig the elections. the only time that the danquah-busia tradition genuinely won an election in Ghana was in 2000 when Ghanaians were fed up with jj rawlings and his first ndc. in 2004, the npp seriously rigged that election and declared themselves winners through jake okanta obetsebi lamptey from the Castle gardens. their luck was that the late good old president evans attah mills did not want blood shed in Ghana hence he quickly conceded defeat to reduce the kind of tension that was mounting in the country. if ndc supporters had been allowed to hit the streets, a lot of people including jake okanta lamptey would have been dead meats by now!
