Maybe Nii should have been a bit more "unspecific":
Tribalism and partisanship (NPP/NDC uber alles) and all those other ideological fixations and generalisations per tribe, party, colour or whatever - they all emit the same stench -
Seemingly opposed at times, they nonetheless all arise from the same pit: ""We" are all the "good" guys, and "you" are all "inferior outsiders"".
Proponents of such repugnancies - repent or suffer the karmic backlash!

Also, give the native trees a chance, and not only foreign ornamental plants.
I fear, many native Ghanaian plants are currently in the process of being brought to extinction,
mainly due to the farm- and hunting-burning that is getting out of control.
The young native trees, bushes and herbs, except the sire kase3, don't have a chance if the fires come before they have reached a certain size. Due to the spread of settlements and increase in population-density, the burning has accelerated from traditionally once in ten years to by now once every year in many places. That is why soon, only the invading teak-trees and the sire-grass would be left, if this trend were to continue, because both are hardy to fire, both even rely on periodic fires for propagation and to keep the ohter vegetation down.
That is why flower-bearing native herbs and bushes are already becoming a rarity in most parts of Ghana. And along with them go the native Ghanaian fauna and the fertility of the soils.
