I have often wondered what category your writing falls? They definitely are not academic because they fail the intellectual curiousity test. They are not musings, because they do not reflect the general scope for which this website was created. They are personal, vindictive, aim to antagonize and could be easily be categorized as hate speech.
So dear Professor, why not create a personal blog and put them there, I understand people like you are quite self-obsessed and crave attention, but I can assure you, some of us will hop on your personal blog and read your rants every now and then for the entertainment value.

I will read every one of your "Kofi Ata" articles. Don't think we don't remember why Kofi responded to you - That he reported you to your employers.
I hope before you complete your "Kofi Ata series", you would have addressed that central question. If you repeat that allegation, please come up with some evidence. All this dance you are performing now is just a side show, Prof.
There is nothing new so far.

Okoampa's writings: uncomfortable truth that falls outside the jurisdiction of your intellectual mettle, or uncomfortable truth that uncomfortably scrapes your thin and sensitively veiled skin.
There you have it, and you are welcome!
I probably used more words than you. Sorry...it comes with the territory, you know!

Is this man a true Ghanaian? He is a nuisance and incorrigible litigant and rustler. I feel sorry for such a wasted talent.

Our elders say "knowledge without wisdom is like water in the sand". So if all you took out of the two paragraphs I wrote is a contest of who wrote more words, I am happy to let you win.

Ahootan the all-knowing Akyem zealot and warlord is at again. In his cacophony world his side of the story always entails the “truth” according to Ahootan. Only a fool of Ahootan’s magnitude believes in such tall tales by telling himself perverted jokes and laughing to his silly-self. Ahootan the schizo is a mad dog who picks fight with everyone even his own shadow. This goat of a being is such logically and wholly inconsistent that his own shadow refuses to follow him. His daily shit based on hollow premise is full of a rebuttable presumption. When do we expect the last sequel of the NONSENSE spewed here by Ahootan? What a jerk! Drop dead you son of a nymphomaniac!

Ghanaweb can also stop feeding us with Okoampa's articles on a daily basis. We don't need to read three of his articles on the same day. I suggest three or four articles a week from Okoampa should be ok. And that is being generous.
But there is one and only one reason why Okoampa will not create his own blog: NOBODY WILL GO THERE TO READ HIM! He will find it difficult to attract ads.
Sometimes I wonder what Okoampa will do if ghanaweb closes down...

We've missed all preceding essays on this one, including those by Kofi Atta.
In reading the text at top regarding using your affiliation in essays that have nothing to do with your occupation as one employed by another, you do not append details about your employer to those "personal" essays.
Doing so is an ethical violation of professional responsibility of the the first order.
For years, Dr, Okoampa Ahoofe violated that standards. No professional has a right to do that.
Consequently, we do not believe that it was optional for Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe to remove details about his employer from his "personal" essays.
He may tell us it was optional on his part. However, it does not end there.
If he had continued, he could easily have been fired from the position, for unprofessional conduct (i.e., WRITING ESSAYS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS THAT REFLECT POORLY ON HIS EMPLOYER AND POSTING THEM FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION).
ITEM: These are some of the ideas we've been promoting on Ghanawb and other forums for more than a decade.
That, it took this long for our professor in New York to finally assume professional responsibility in this matter goes to show the difficulty we have with this aspect of our project on behalf of Ghana.
This is one aspect to the Professor Amoako Baah problem, for Professor Amoako Baah.

Prof Kwaame Okoampa-Ahoofe, I am not your "would-be professional assassin and destroyer" because and as I said in my rejoinder, I am not the person who reported you to your employer (Nassau Community College) regarding the use of the college in your private articles on Ghanaweb.
You have actually confirmed my experience on the subject of academists associating the institutions they lecture at with their private work. For your information, though I have never worked directly in an academic institution here in the UK, I have worked indirectly with them in an advisory capacities. I advised colleges and universities on equality and diversity, particularly on "Widening Participation Programmes". I was also a Corporation Member of a College in England(Board of Governors) for a four years and served on the Academic Standards Committee (college only awarded up to Masters and not PhD degrees). What I know from these engagements is that academic staff must agree with their heads of departments before they can associate the institution with outside or private work. Such work if agreed is also subject to the Peer Review Assessment Mechanism that come to the Academic Standards Committee for which I was a member. I was therefore speaking on authority and not out of ignorance.
Do not deceive yourself that you voluntarily decided not to affiliate Nassau Community College to your article on Ghanaweb. From what I know, that is not true. It's because you have been advised not to do so either through Peer Review or by your Head of Department.
I hope you will search for your would be professional assassin and destroyer.

OUR COMMENT: That is the standard - o similar - for any organization worth a dime.
We hope Ghanaian academics and civil servant paid by tax payers can learn from this case.
It is important for many reasons we do not case to recite.
Dr. Okoampa Ahoofe ought to have known that more than 1 decade ago.
