NPP protects drug dealers

Dr. Kennedy did not explicitly state that NPP protects drug dealers. But he opened the door for this inference when he made the following irrelevant statement in reaction to a call made by an NPP member for his dismissal:

"Personally, I have never used or sold illegal drugs. I do not even smoke. Why would anyone want to expel me when others who have committed all these infractions are members of the NPP in good standing?”

The above statement, tactlessly made in defense against the call for his dismissal, gave the opportunity for others to infer that drug sellers are at the very least, accommodated in the NPP.

The needlessness for such an outrageous proposition is not in doubt.

Couple that with the foolish title of his book, "Chasing the Elephant into the Bush", and you will conclude that here is a person who does not ponder his words long enough.

And his strident and long-running attacks on Akufo-Addo while predictably siding with his opponents leave open the suspicion that he harbors some ill-will against his own party.

The call to dismiss him from the party is stupid, and so are his own responses to occurrences within the party. Going forward, he can redeem himself by being more constructive and conciliatory...This explanation above is a small beginning.
