The exigencies of all democracies the world over are encapsulated in three main principles: law, order, and good government; without which there is no democracy. I have always maintained that without either of these principles, we have no democracy.
There is a complete breakdown of law and order in our country where impudence has become the standard discourse followed by hooliganism of our youth. Ours is a democracy that is at tailspin with (public advocates) opinion leaders and intellectuals setting the rules in tandem with their political affiliations. Good government is a dream to behold not only in Ghana but the whole dark continent.
Democratic principles should be taught in the classrooms - topics such as obeying laws, an orderly conduct of affairs in our institutions (EC, Parliament, Executive) are perfunctory knowledge our people should know in our democratic dispensation.

Me thinks they know it is a collective thing, that is why they don't have one manifesto for Parliamentarians and another for the President
