All what you said are facts and like you said tribalism has dangerously taken root in our country.
It's not a good sign if we don't change this perception.
NPP is a tribal political party and they see any Akan and mostly any Ashanti or Akyem in any different party as a betrayal of their diabolical selfish hegemony.
Any of the aforementioned tribes who commit's any fraud or is involved in any corrupt activity is quickly covered and fiercely defended to the hilt.
Don't be fooled. We clearly heard Osafo Marfo's tribal effusions. He and his cabal really mean what he said.

Can you exonerate your tribe or ethic group from the issue of tribalism and ethnocentrism in Ghana? We are all guilty of it but ignorant and jealous ones like you trumpet it against others as if you are God

Hello Willie,
Yes, this is a great article -- to be precise, a wonderful DESCRIPTION of national ailments.
The problem is, we have been reading such descriptions for years: at Ghanaian society meetings, house parties, funerals, weddings, on flights, at holiday beaches, in beer bars, almost everywhere and at all times.
If constantly telling people "you are looters, you are corrupt, you are greedy, selfish, lazy" changed their behavior, there would have been no problems to describe by now.
I do believe our ONLY duty, as patriotic citizens, is to DEVELOP PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS.
Otherwise you may have to reproduce this "best article" on next year's Republic Day as well (and for many years to come).

Actually, anyone can legally become a "citizen" but a "nationalist" is a die-hard patriot who will defend the nation till death!

Shame unto Danquah-Busia tradition/NPP for conspiring with white men from the West to remove Nkrumah from power on 24 February 1966. The white men from the West toppled Nkrumah because they wanted to take over the country and control us. The white men from the West took over our economy and changed it into the market for their products and producer of raw materials for their factories. Ghana is now a shadow of herself.
Danquah-Busia tradition/NPP should bow their heads in shame.

U went political at somewhere along the line. That to me is problematic.
We have to learn how to be objective in our write ups while hiding or putting away out political lenses

What is this stupid imbecile pepeni / ayigbe tribal bigot writing about, that Ghanaians don't have the right to talk about the criminal activities of thief John Dramani Mahama and his cronies? Nonsense!
