All roads will lead to Dormaa-Ahenkro, specifically the Nana Agyeman Badu Park this Sunday, where Aduana FC will be formally crowned winners of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.

Dormaa-Ahenkro will buzz, as it is expected to host a convergence of people’s from all walks of life at the invitation of the Omanhene of the Dormaa Traditional Area, Nana Agyemang Badu, who is also the Life Patron and bankroller of the champions, Aduana Stars.

Indeed, the high-profile guest list will include traditional leaders, ministers, parliamentarians, businessmen as well as football administrators, who will join the Dormaahene to celebrate his champions.

Indeed, Aduana were deserved winners of their second premier league title, as their impressive statistics highlight.

The impressive record include an unbeaten home record, highest number of goals scored, most away goals scored and only 2 goals conceded at home, among other highlights.

The Piesie or Ogya boys have shown consistency for the past seasons, typical of the maxim “either the first or with the first “.

With their second trophy this season, the “GHALCA G6” competition inclusive, the hardworking playing body, who deserve tonnes of congratulations, have really done justice to the efforts of all the good people connected with the club, notably the Owner and Bankroller, Dormaahene, Nana Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II.

The technical and administrative team, headed by Coach Yusif Abubakar, the management headed by CEO, Albert Commey, as well as their loyal supporters Aldo deserve commendations.

For their efforts, the GFA, in conjunction with the Premier League Board, will honour Aduana with the glittering trophy, 50 gold medals and a cash prize of $30,000.

The final coronation of the champions will be preceded by cultural display as well as a regional derby between Aduana and Berekum Chelsea.

The PLB in conjunction with the home side, has decided that children, students and women will enjoy free attendance for this historic occasion. A flat rate of GH ¢10.00 will be charged to witness the historic event.

Kick off is at 3:00 p.m. However, Candy Ladies will face Ampem Darkowaa Ladies in a curtain raiser between 12:15pm – 1:15pm.
