President of the Senior Staff Association at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Charles Offei Palm has described his interdiction by management of the facility as ‘bogus’, and with no legal basis.
He is accusing the hospital management of failing to abide by the Constitution of Ghana by taking decisions which "violate (his) human rights."
“I believe its just an unfair interdiction because it is not a management decision. They are not going according to the constitution of our dear country and did not go through any processes. It’s a clear case of victimization and I think the interdiction is just bogus” he said.
Mr. Offei Palm’s interdiction follows renewed allegations he made against the hospital’s management on an Accra based radio station.
He is said to have re-echoed claims that the hospital’s board and CEO have mismanaged finances, leading to shortage of drugs and other essentials.
Currently, leadership of the Senior Staff Association is in court, seeking to declare a disciplinary process to sanction them as null and void.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday, Mr. Offei Palm said he believes there is an unseen hands manipulating issues to tarnish his image.
He has vowed to seek redress since he believes his right has been infringed upon.
