Thanks for the Kuffuor NPP led administration for implementing the NHIS,and to make it totally effective in serving the general population the corruption engendered by its officials must be fought and eliminated.

it is a good social policy that must be replicated across sub saharan africa with a little twist here and there. The NPP regime for that 8 years did a lot of good to the country only to be blinded by the Mr. Mills who thought the scheme could be sustained with a one time payment, all in the name of power. All patroitic Ghanaians must do their part to prop up this scheme. The shifting of the scheme to be operative in the only three northern regions and the volta region demonstrate that nationally the system is not sustainable. The devoted funds are being channeled into individuals pocket at the expense of sick and pregnant mothers.
