RIKAIR Company Limited, a wholly owned Ghanaian company incorporated under the Companies Code 1963 (Act 179) is seeking support of the government to provide Oxygen plants hospitals in the country.

"RIKAIR aims to be a leading supplier and has already adopted the effective use of modern technology, training, teamwork, and strategic alliances with local and international partners to fully achieve this goal", Managing Director (MD), Nana Yaw Asante revealed.

"RIKAIR is also committed to providing technical and consultation support services based on our long experience and expertise of our staff in the industrial and medical gas industry in the West African Region", he added.

Delivering a speech held to inaugurate two ultramodern Oxygen plants for the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, the MD expressed appreciation to government for the opportunity given to RIKAIR to install the Ghc 5.4m project.

"We are also proud and honored to have been chosen to aid in the continuous improvement of health care delivery in Ghana. ...I would first like to thank the Board and Management of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), the entire team and, by extension the Government of Ghana for the opportunity given to RIKAIR Company Limited to demonstrate once more our ability to deliver and install this oxygen generating plant".

According to Nana Yaw Asante, the commissioning of the Oxygen plants fit into the Government’s Agenda of creating an enabling environment where indigenous companies can compete fairly with their international counterparts.

"It is therefore refreshing to note that RIKAIR has taken the “Ghana Beyond Aid” Agenda seriously by showing its capabilities and expertise in this industry", the MD for RIKAIR concluded
