Ghana as a country has over the years witnessed high profile corruption cases involving some political figures as well as civil servants.

While some officials involved in alleged corruption cases have been tried and found guilty by competent court of jurisdiction, others have also been left off the hook due to lack of substantial evidence.

However, there are some personalities who have been branded corrupt by public court of opinion due to media freedom and free speech.

Although the corruption tags and allegations against some of these Ghanaian officials are widespread, there is no enough proves and evidence to prosecute these officials.

Others have also suffered ‘character assassination’ due to corruption tags against them through the media. Some of these corruption claims according to others are just mere allegations that have not been proven by any competent court.
