Hip-life artist A Plus appears to be running away from the corruption allegations he made against two Deputy Chiefs of Staff, Samuel Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye over the weekend.

Known in real life as Kwame Asare Obeng, the artist, who described the two as “stupid” in three different posts, using swear words, challenge the two to confront him and he will expose them for their “arrogance” and “requests” making on persons who wanted to see the president.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has reiterated his commitment to fighting corruption and on Saturday during the party’s delegate conference, he warned those making allegations against any of his men to be ready to substantiate them because he is not going to shield anyone.

The issue is currently before the CID and when the artist was called for questioning, he failed to show up, rather directing investigators to his lawyers.

There is so far no word from his lawyers but, already, his credibility continues to be shredded in the news media, as several write-ups on social media especially continue to call him into question.

In a related development, scores of party activists who spoke to mynewsgh.com at the party’s congress expressed unhappiness at the refusal of the two appointees from picking their calls or responding to them, contrary to what they used to do during campaign time.

“They no longer respect us and even when you call them with serious issues that relate to their offices, they don’t mind to respond,” one of them said. “Even my own Communications Officer in the United States sent him (Abu Jinapor) a WhatsApp message, he read it but refused to respond or acknowledge till date.”

The delegate, who was part of the group from the United States, said he has since not bothered to even send him a message or a text.

“ It is not worth it because these folks have forgotten where we are coming from,” he added.
