Assin North parliamentary candidate Kennedy Agyapong is accusing suspended National chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Paul Afoko of paying GHS100 bribe to voters both in the Ashanti and Central region to cast their vote against the Party’s flag bearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in this year’s polls.
The maverick politician alleged on Hello FM’s Saturday morning political show Akoko Abon that Mr. Afoko and Former Chief Of Staff Kwadwo Mpiani among others are moving around with forms convincing people to fill after being paid the purported amount to vote against Nana Addo in the December 7 general elections.
He indicated that Paul Afoko is doing so under the influnce of the ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] following his affiliation with them.
”Afoko is of the view that the NPP party when voted into office will collapse his oil business so he feels he’s better off under the NDC party than his own party NPP but trust me starting tomorrow Sunday they will run away because we are going to beat them mercilessly this stupidity must stop in NPP and I will stop him in Central region this weekend” he said.
He added ”If Afoko is a man and feels he can kill me just like he did to Adams then he’s joking because he can’t kill me and not even Mahama can save him.
