Koku Anyidoho, a Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), is warning voters against voting for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, because he will be Ghana's worst president.

Koku Anyidoho speaking to Kwame Tutu on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.Fm said, Nana Addo in the realm of affairs will spell doom for Ghana.

According to him, he will be running a dictatorship form of governance and will prevent people from advising him on what to do. He said, if care is not taken and Nana Addo is voted, he will destroy the good works of President Mahama to the extent of resurfacing the various road projects undertaken under this government.

Apart from Nana Addo's dictatorship nature, he has failed to unite his party, exhibit exceptional leadership and such a person cannot be trusted to govern Ghana.

He will destroy this country, Koku stressed.

''It is important that we allow for continuity so that at the end of another four years, the level at which President Mahama has transformed this country will continue. We are not turning back.''

He said, Nana Addo as president will never be happy over President Mahama's massive achievements and so he will embark on a scheme to destroy them.

''Nana Addo's dictatorship style of leadership has divided the NPP. He cannot work with people and so when we vote for him, he will apply that same kind of leadership in the management of this country. And that is what we don't have to encourage.

Nana Addo as president is a recipe for disaster and chaos and that is why Ghanaians must no make the mistake of voting for Nana Addo... President Mahama will be retained to continue with his good works.''

He continued, ''When president Mahama is retained, the NPP will dump Akufo Addo and say, you [Akufo Addo] have worried us for long. Step aside and let's elect a better candidate. And after the reign of Mahama and the NPP should come to power in 2020, they will be coming with a more sober leader, a more organized leader, and not a dictator.''

When asked why the NDC keeps on attacking the personality of Nana Addo instead of focusing on issues, he said, the personality of every candidate is part of politics and cannot be ruled out.

The constitution he added, has also given a guideline of what qualities a candidate should have before they are voted into office.

''The character of the person is important...We need to scrutinize the people who want to lead us because it will help us to make informed choices,'' he concluded.
