Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho has admitted that some of the pictures of projects used in the party’s Green Book are indeed artistic impressions.

He, however, states that it is not an indication the said projects are not ongoing as members of the opposition party are trying to portray to the populace.

“My brother, it is possible in the green book you may find some artistic impressions, but that does not mean these projects are not ongoing, and I dare anyone who disagrees to go to the locations we stated to see if work is in progress or not,” he indicated

His admission vindicates allegations by New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia that most project images in the said book are mere artistic impressions aimed at deceiving the citizenry.

Mr. Anyidoho, who was speaking on Ultimate Fm’s political programme the Fact File hosted by Julius-Caesar Anadem, indicated that the pictures exhibited through artistic impressions were only meant to give Ghanaians an idea of how the projects will look like when they are duly completed.

He also discounted claims that it was meant to deceive Ghanaians as no such projects existed.

According to him, it is only the Mahama-led administration that can deliver on its promises to Ghanaians through the completion of these projects underscoring the need for electorate to mandate the current NDC government a second term to realize this dream.

“Nana Addo and his people will truncate these projects. That is the more reason you will have to vote President Mahama for second term come November 7 to continue these projects which will inure to the beneficiary districts and areas.
