Bawumia’s campaign is out of coverage area – Azorka mocks
The Northern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Sofo Azorka has mocked the campaign of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia describing it as ‘a total waste of time’.
In his view, the campaign is much ado about nothing since he [Bawumia] will not be the ballot paper on the day of voting.
“Bawumia’s campaign is out of coverage area; he is just wasting his time because he will not be on the ballot paper on elections day” he stated on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.
Rather, Sofo Azorka advised the NPP to save the little money and allow its flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to do the campaign alone.
On the NDC chances especially in the Northern region, the outspoken chairman predicted a 79 percent win for the party.
He said the people in the North will show appreciation to President Mahama for all the developmental projects thus will retain him in power.
Sofo Azorka promised to do everything in his power to win maximum vote in the Northern region for a resounding victory in the elections.
