A man believed to be in his thirties has been electrocuted to death at Adeiso in the Eastern Region after he attempted to steal electrical cables on one of the Electricity Company of Ghana distribution lines in the area.
The incident is reported to have happened around 1am on Friday, September 28,2018.
According to the residents in the area, the deceased was found dead at about 5am with the cables on him.
The cable thief apparently succeeded in cutting the cables from the pole, but was electrocuted in the process.
The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to the morgue by police in the Eastern Region.
