The NPP Northern Regional Chairman, Mr. Adam Samba has vehemently denied any involvement in an alleged GHC2 million tricycle scandal at the Northern Development Authority (NDA).
Mr Adam Samba is alleged to have taken away 400 tricycles from the NDA premises.
The NPP Chairman in reaction to the allegations in an interview with journalist Hamza Lansah Lolly said, “I don’t have a company called Sav-Link, I don’t even know such company exists. My fuel station is just opposite the NDA office but I have never entered that premises,” he said.
Chairman Samba said, the NDC and its cohorts just want to tarnish his image for political expediency.
“The NDC dirty campaign against me will not work Insha Allah…. That Kelvin Taylor is ‘zuuku’, if he wanted to do a good job, he will have check at the Registrar General’s Department before linking me to a company I don’t know. He just wants to malign me.”
The NPP Chairman reiterated that the smear campaign against him is a calculated attempt by the NDC to distract him from executing his agenda 15 seats in the Northern Region.
“The NDC is panicking because they know ‘Chairman Do All’ will win the 15 seats for the NPP… so they want to slow me down but nothing can deter me from achieving my agenda 15 seats… the NDC should continue their dirty and vile propaganda whiles I deliver the 15 seats to the NPP”.
