Chief of Staff, CEOs, others to undergo orientation and training seminar organised by NPP

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to organise a three-day orientation and training session for key members of its party to prepare them for the 2020 electioneering campaign, ABC News Ghana has gathered.

The seminar seeks to enhance the capacities of those invited and improve their appreciation of political party administration and skills ahead of the 2020 election campaign cycle.

The three-day seminar to be held in Koforidua, Eastern Region is on the theme, “Re-energising, Retooling and Re-positioning the party for victory 2020?

“Participants at the National Seminar scheduled for this weekend include: – All National Officers – Regional Chairmen, Regional Secretaries, Regional Treasurers, Regional Organizers, Regional Women Organizers, Regional Youth Organizers, Regional Nasara Coordinators, Regional Communications Officers and Regional Research and Elections Officers – The Chief of Staff – Ministers of State – Leadership of the Majority Caucus in Parliament – The Regional Deans of the MMDCEs and one additional woman from each region – CEOs who are members of the party” the NPP General Secretary disclosed in the release.

The statement signed by the General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu also hinted that other leaders of the party will be taken through similar coaching in the lead up to the 2020 election.

ABC News Ghana can also confirm that President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is scheduled to be present at the event.

He has been invited as the Special Guest of Honour for the three-day seminar.

NPP HOLDS ORIENTATION AND TRAINING SEMINAR FOR PARTY EXECUTIVES AND GOVERNMENT APPOINTEES

The NPP, will hold a 3-day training seminar for National and Regional Executives of the party as well as some selected government appointees, starting from Friday, April 26, 2019 to Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital.

The training seminar is being held under the theme: “RE-ENERGIZING, RETOOLING AND RE-POSITIONING THE PARTY FOR VICTORY 2020”, to equip party officers with modern skills and dynamics of party administration ahead of the 2020 general elections, and to improve party-government relation.

It shall then be replicated in all the constituencies and at the polling station levels involving constituency and polling station executives as well as government appointees at these levels especially MMDCEs.
