Former Lecturer at the University of Ghana Department of Psychology and boss of the Danquah Institute, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko wants the laws of the land to deal mercilessly with the embattled Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho standing trial on charges of treason.
A report from Kumasi by MYNEWSGH.com’s Kwabena Danso-Dapaah quoted the DI boss as saying: “I expect the law to deal with him to deter others with such ill-intended mindset from following suit. …His nation-wreaking comment is unacceptable, unfortunate and despicable”.
“Mr. Koku Anyidoho must be condemned and be made responsible to his hate and irresponsible comment about our dear country, and the government of Akufo-Addo”, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko suggested.
“We need to uphold the sanctity, security and peace of the nation”, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate hopeful for Kwadaso Constituency in the last general election pointed out.
“We have to also ensure that we are always on the right side of the law, and allow those who work against the law to bear their own cross”, he posted on his Facebook wall.
“We don’t have to defend irresponsible people in our country because such defence exposes others to love, promote and perpetuate impunity”, he added
“Where impunity is allowed to gain grounds, there is always the cultivation of anarchy, confusion and retrogression”, Executive Director of policy think tank, Danquah Institute said.
