I’ll unleash soldiers on corrupt policemen – Kennedy Agyapong

Controversial Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has threatened to unleash armed soldiers on corrupt police officers in his constituency who are condoning in crime with impunity.

He singled out the Crime Officer he accuses of being the most corrupt individual who has succeeded in corrupting about 60% of the others stating that he is now tired of him.

The lawmaker who claims to have videos of some of them receiving bribes from civilians has vowed to present them to the Acting Inspector General of Police Mr James Oppong-Boanuh for action to be taken against the erring cops.

Speaking to residents who have been duped by a self-acclaimed man of God who is said to be enjoying the protection of the police in an audio intercepted by MyNewsGh.com, he said “They are cheap police officers who are taking bribes and there is no law in this constituency. It will not work. I am leaving her and I want the list. When the man started his church and the people were demonstrating he has taken their money, the comment the Crime Officer made indicated that they were a waste. It meant they were fully in support of what the pastor did. I am tired of the Crime Officer because he is destroying about 60% of the police here who are all corrupt. I am taking these videos to the IGP…I hear one of them took GHC900. We cannot allow police officers to continue this way. That is why they don’t like me. I hear when they make the money then they use motors to block the road. I will unleash soldiers on them. The laws will work”
