New Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is heading to the UK to meet his family before coming to the country to start work.
Appiah has officially parted ways with his Sudanese club Al Khartoum after being re-appointed by the Ghana Football Association.
He has been handed an initial two-year contract after beating 2017 AFCON winning coach Hugo Broos and Wily Sagnol.
''I will leave Sudan on Wednesday to meet my family before going to Ghana next week,'' Appiah told the Graphic Sports.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to outdoor the new Black Stars trainer at a press conference next week.
Appiah will officially start work on 01 May ahead five matches in his first four months.
