Ghana’s ministerial vetting continues as the second list of the third batch of nominees face parliament’s Appointments Committee today. Minister designate for Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah is currently being quizzed by members of the committee.
Awal Ibrahim Mohammed, Minister-designate for Business Development and Mavis Hawa Koomson, Minister designate for Special Development Initiatives will also take their turn today.
On Monday February 6, 2017 three Ministers-designate where vetted and are yet to be approved by parliament.
The process begun on Friday, 20th January, 2017 with the vetting of Senior Minister nominee Osafo Maafo.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has announced 36 ministers-designate since he assumed office as President of Ghana on 7th January 2017.
