The National Chairman of the NDC, Ofosu Ampofo, has been officially charged by the police CID.
He was charged with two other executives of the NDC – Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer, and his deputy, Kwaku Boahen.
This was gathered by YEN.com.gh in a report sighted on Peacefmonline.com.
According to the report, the three individuals have been charged with “conspiracy to commit a crime with kidnapping intent, and conspiracy to commit a crime with a threat of harm”.
This was reportedly disclosed by the public relations officer of the Police CID, DSP Juliana Obeng.
"They have all been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime with kidnapping intent and conspiracy to commit a crime with a threat of harm," DSP Obeng said.
The three, following the charge, have been thus asked to stop reporting themselves to the CID as was the initial agreement for a probe into their case.
