The National Women's Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Otiko Efisa Djaba has said that although President John Mahama is her brother, he is wicked and does not feel the pain of Ghanaians.

The multi-linguist speaking to electorates at Asawase in the Ashanti region admonished them to vote against President Mahama because his time was up. According to her, the president does not care about the welfare of Ghanaians hence, the need to vote for Nana Akufo Addo who is passionate about Ghana, and wants to see it develop better than what we see under the NDC administration.

''President Mahama's time is up...President Mahama is extremely wicked and so he must step down. We need change, we need someone is is passionate about this country. You have to vote massively for Nana Akufo Addo. We need change this year. Your time is up President Mahama.

You have to step down this year so Nana Addo can take over the management of this country.'' Her comments follows that of the candidate who has called on Ghanaians to reject Mahama because ''President Mahama, clearly, does not feel your pain and suffering.

He is impervious to the hardships Ghanaians are going through on a daily basis, in their efforts to make ends meet. I doubt he is living in Ghana with us, because if he was, he wouldn’t be making such comments.”

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, he is at a loss as to why the President will make comments to the effect that all is well with Ghana, in the midst of record levels of unemployment, rising cost of living, high utility tariffs, widespread despondency, and untold levels of hardship and suffering amongst the populace.

“We have an opportunity this year to rid our nation of the suffering and hardship the Ghanaian is going through under the leadership of President Mahama. When we vote in a competent government in December, I assure you that Ghana will be put on the path of progress and prosperity once again. That is the task before us in Ghana in this year’s election”, Nana Akufo-Addo said.
