The President John Dramani Mahama has authorized has authorised some 1,500 metres be installed in the Abura community in the Central Region.
He made the announcement during his tour of the region. When implemented, it is expected to do away with issues of billing that have been a challenge posed by the communal metres. The residents of Abura have expressed their gratitude to the President.
President John Mahama is on a tour of the Region as part of his campaign for the 2016 elections which is some three months away.
The NDC is insisting its records will endear them to voters in December. The main opposition NPP and other parties have argued it out.
