The National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress, George Opare Addo has donated five trucks to the Youth Wing to aid the party's work in the various regions.

Presenting the vehicles at the party's Headquarters in Adabraka, Mr Opare Addo popularly known as Pablo said the gesture is in fulfillment of a promise he made to Regional Youth Organizers when he was campaigning to be National Youth Organizer.

He said, "when I was campaigning to be National Youth Organizer, I saw firsthand the struggles youth organizers in the various regions go through in their efforts to discharge their duties. I made a promise to support their programmes and activities with vehicles to ease their movements within their regions."

He noted that, he is optimistic the pick-ups will be used responsibly and help the various Youth Secretariats in their efforts to see President John Dramani Mahama re-elected to redeem this nation and Ghanaians from this inept and insensitive government.

According to him, this presentation was the first of similar donations he will be making till every Regional Youth Secretariat gets a vehicle for their activities.

Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the party, National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo expressed gratitude to the National Youth Organizer for embarking on this initiative and expressed the need for other party members to do same.

"This is remarkable gesture by our National Youth Organizer and deserves praise. It is no secret that he and his deputies are working hard but this donation is commendable by all standards."

Hon Ofosu Ampofo also used the occasion to encourage other party members and well wishers to emulate the step taken by Mr Opare Addo. He charged the Regional Youth Organizers to take good care of the vehicles and put it to good use.

In all, five Nissan Hardbody pick-ups were donated to the Regonal Youth Secretariats. The beneficiary regions include Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, Western and Eastern Regions. NDC National Youth Oganizer donates pick-ups to party
