Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah has described the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) as a bunch of shameless people.
Reacting to the recent demonstration on the new voters’ register in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com , Osei Mensah said the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is leading the Inter-Party Resistance against New Voters Register, just wants to use the protest to energize their grassroots ahead of the 2020 elections.
“NDC does not stand for the truth, they are shameless people. We stand for truth and integrity and we will tell the people the truth, they should keep on lying,” he said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme.
He explained that, since their argument against the new electoral roll has failed, the NDC is now clutching at straws.
The Minister cited how many road projects abandoned by the erstwhile Mahama administration are nearing completion to buttress his point that Ghana is being developed under the current dispensation.
He appealed to Ghanaians not to be swayed by the hypocrisy of the NDC but rather support the EC to develop a credible register for the elections
