All roads lead to Tarkwa in the Tarkwa –Nsuaem constituency of the Western Region as members of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) begin to arrive there for its Unity Walk event.
The event scheduled for Saturday, November 25 is the fourth in a series of walks after similar events were held in Accra, Tamale and Cape Coast.
Tarkwa is hosting the Western regional edition of the event aimed at re-energizing the grassroots base of the party as part of on-going efforts towards rebuilding the party as recommended by the Professor Kwesi Botchwey Committee report.
Former President John Dramani Mahama and other bigwigs are expected to join in the walk.
Ahead of the programme, NDC Western Regional Communications Director, Richard Kirk-Mensah, tells Class News some leading members are already in town adding that they are poised for the programme.
