Former President Kufour has expressed strong optimism that, come what may, Nana Akudo Addo, presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win the presidential election.
Former president John Agyekum Kufuor at the last NPP rally declared a resounding victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Wednesday's elections, predicting a win in five out of the 10 Regions in the country.
Speaking to Kwame Tutu on Election Train on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the former president said his prediction has come through and was happy.
He said, "factually, Nana Addo is winning the elections. I am not the one declaring any results because the results coming in shows that Nana Addo is winning."
The statesman indicated that he is a happy man because of the beauty of our democracy.
"I am extremely happy. I am a happy ma," he said.
