Ghana is expected to face more power outages from tomorrow, Thursday, April 11, 2019, the Power Distribution Services (PDS) has said.
The cuts are on the orders of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), in order to enable them to construct a 330kV overhead line between Kumasi and Aboadze.
The power outage, as sighted on DGN Online, will last for six consecutive days, starting from Thursday, 11th April to Wednesday, 17th April, 2019.
According to the PDS, the lights will be off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The affected areas include Tarkwa, Bogoso, Asawinso and Juaboso.
Just last week, the PDS released a list of areas that would experience outages during the weekend.
Those areas included Osu, Ablekuma and the Airport City Enclave.
However, the outage will last for 12 hours roughly.
